본 협회는 패션일러스트레이션 분야의 권익 향상과 문화적 가치 확산을 목표로, 산업통상부 산하에서 1995년 설립되었습니다. 설립 이래 회원과 관련 업계 간의 긴밀한 협력과 교류를 바탕으로, 패션 일러스트레이션을 매개로 한 다양한 문화 창출과 발전에 기여해왔습니다.
특히 산학계와의 활발한 네트워크를 기반으로 국내외 콜라보레이션 전시, 특별전, 초대전 등을 지속적으로 개최하고 있으며, 관련 산업체 및 기관과의 협력을 통해 국제 공모전을 운영함으로써 우수한 인재를 발굴하고 창작 활동의 기회를 확대하고 있습니다.
협회는 이러한 활동을 통해 패션일러스트레이션 분야의 전문성과 경쟁력을 강화하고, 창작자들이 더욱 활발하게 활동할 수 있는 환경을 조성하고자 합니다. 나아가 국제 교류를 확대하여 지속적으로 확대하여 한국 패션일러스트레이션의 가치를 널리 알리고, 세계로의 연결을 통해 확장과 소통의 장을 마련하는 것을 궁극적인 목표로 삼고 있습니다.

This association was established in 1995 under the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy (MOTIE) with the aim of improving the rights and interests of fashion illustration and spreading cultural values. Since its establishment, it has contributed to the creation and development of various cultures through fashion illustration based on close cooperation and exchanges between members and related industries
In particular, we continue to hold domestic and international collaboration exhibitions, special exhibitions, and invitations based on our active network with industry-academia, and we are discovering excellent talents and expanding opportunities for creative activities by operating international competitions through cooperation with related industries and organizations.
Through these activities, the association aims to strengthen expertise and competitiveness in the field of fashion illustration and create an environment where creators can become more active. Furthermore, the ultimate goal is to expand international exchanges and continue to expand to promote the value of Korean fashion illustration and to establish a place for expansion and communication through connection to the world.
